The main role of the Lending Partner Organisation (LPO) is to give credit to prospective users who want to build a BIRU reactor. Financial institutions that are interested in participating in the BIRU program by providing low-interest credit to households can become partner organizations of credit providers. The organization can consist of national banks, regional banks, and micro-finance institutions including dairy cooperatives that have a unit of borrowing (offering the possibility of payment through milk deposits).
