Yayasan Lembaga Pembinaan Masyarakat Desa (YLPMD)
YLPMB, Indonesian abbreviations for Village Community Development Foundation, was founded by community leaders from 20 Islamic boarding schools that are members of the Association of Boarding Schools Network (IJKP) Lampung on March 30, 1989, and was legalized on March 31, 1989.
YLPMD is a non-governmental and non-profit organization and is not affiliated to a particular political group. The form of the organization is a foundation and has a concern in the field of advocacy and community development.
The purpose and goal of this organization is to encourage the increasing of people's lives standard, to be better, more equitable, more prosperous and and more sustainable in economic, social, cultural and political sectors that can lead to a strong and democratic civil society.
The programmes that developed currently by YLPMD Lampung are Political Advocacy and Education for the People, and the Development of Organic Farming.
