Manikaya Kauci Foundation
Established in Denpasar, Bali on 13th April 1992, the Manikaya Kauci is a non-governmental organization founded upon the basis of care and concern of students from the Faculty of Law, Agriculture and Economics of the University of Udayana to tackle problems of tourism, injustice/law disobedience and environmental issues in Bali with detrimental effects on nature and the lives of smaller communities. Their main focus is to encourage the implementation of a democratic civilization governance, to perform control on consistent policy functions which do not favor the people.
Manikaya Kauci Foundation shares the same principles with Hivos in terms of its intentions with the implementation of the BIRU domestic biogas program. Its ultimate vision is to work towards a democratic Indonesia. Through its missions of strengthening governance reformation, strengthening of social politics and independency of economy as well as law and human rights education. Hence Manikaya Kauci Foundation are backed by experts and graduates of law, accountancy, economy, farming, social politics and anthropology ensuring the utmost effective ways of communicating across of encouraging the role of political parties in order to realize people's aspirations towards a more democratic life.
