Mr. Raba Daeng Emba lives in Tombolo Hamlet, Tompobolu Village, Tompobolu Subdistrict, Maros District, South Sulawesi Province. He is the head of family with four children and his occupation is a truck driver and cattle farmer, while his wife, Mrs. Daeng Ati, is a housewife. They run a side business where they have been managing the business for the last 10 years by opening a meatball hawker stall.

Mr. Zainuddin, a farmer and a Domestic Biogas (BIRU) user in Dampang, Gantarangkeke Village, Gantarangkeke Subdistrict, Bantaeng District, South Sulawesi. He is an active participant in meetings organized by agricultural extension agents in his local community.

Mr. H. Juna, a Domestic Biogas (BIRU) user living in Parigi Hamlet, Bonto Cinde Village, Bissappu Subdistrict, Bantaeng District, South Sulawesi Province. Initially, he did not really believe that cow manures may be used as the raw materials to produce biogas for cooking purposes.

Mr. Sala, a Domestic Biogas (BIRU) user, lives in Garege Hamlet, Kassi Village, Rumbia Subdistrict, Jeneponto District, South Sulawesi Province. Mr. Sala came into contact with biogas technology and subsequently encouraged himself to build one while he was participating on a biogas master mason training organized in his village.

Raising cattle has been Mr. Amir Badawi’s choice after residing in his wife’s hometown. As normal practices among the Buginese Makassar, he has been exploring various provinces throughout Indonesia and even to Malaysia since a young age. His experience abroad has led him to establish Waji Ternak Farmers’ Group. In 2011, this group won a trophy in farm animal contest in Bone District, South Sulawesi Province, thus enable other cattle farmers from other regions to visit and learn from them.

Mr. Daeng Rewa is a civil servant living in Takalar District, South Sulawesi Province. He also raises cattle in his backyard since last year (cattle fattening business). His business has been operating for two years and so far it has produces four cattle.
