November 2011. The Indonesia Domestic Biogas Programme celebrates an important moment – the 4000th biodigester built since the programme started in May 2009. The celebration is done in conjunction with the International Biogas Workshop seminar in Bandung, West Java. In the event, Hivos gives acknowledgement to the 4000th family using the BIRU digester, the best Construction Partner Organisation (CPO), the most innovative CPO and the best mason.
